DESCRIPTION:
Leadership coaching has become vitally important to todays most successful businesses. This program provides valuable guidance on what the best coaches do to get the most out of leaders. It reveals core philosophies, critical capabilities, and the secrets of coaching success. It has an emphasis on the mind/body/spirit/emotion connection as it relates to behavior and it provides an integrated approach to life coaching and business environment for empowerment, leadership and overall success.

This module is applicable to Specialist, Expert, Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. (Doctor) Programs. This distance learning degree program is designed at the postgraduate level – Master’s or Doctoral. This module may be easily adapted to complete the Specialist, Expert or Bachelor’s adult degree program requirements. A further option is the enrollment into the online university courses listed in this module.
* University Course (3 credits): Select 1 subject from this module.
* Specialist Diploma (15 credits): First 5 subjects or select 5 subjects from this module.
* Expert Diploma (21 credits): First 7 subjects or select 7 subjects from this module.
* Bachelor's Degree (130 credits): The Admission certificate issued after submission of the application for admission will show the amount of credit transferred and validated from previous education and experience, and the amount of credits required to complete this undergraduate program's major. Additional courses from other modules of this faculty will be assigned in case that the credits displayed on this module are not enough to complete the bachelor's required credits.
* Master's Degree (35 credits): Select from 3 to 9 subjects from this module depending on the amount of credits transferred from previous education and experience. Add 13 credits corresponding to a final project to the selected subjects.
* Ph.D. (Doctor) (45 credits): Select from 3 to 9 subjects from this module depending on the amount of credits transferred from previous education and experience. Add 18 credits corresponding to a final thesis to the selected subjects.
BIU issues an admission certificate after receiving your complete application for admission. This document will show the amount of credits transferred and validated from previous education and experience, and the amount of credits required to complete the degree program's major. BIU can not perform this evaluation without the complete application for admission.

Human Development
This course introduces the theory, empirical research, and applied issues in developmental psychology. It focuses on social, psychological, cultural, emotional and spiritual aspects of development across the life course, with emphasis on the applications of these theories to counseling. Students will be encouraged to revisit their own developmental path.

Organizational Leadership
This course develops an understanding of oneself and others as individuals and as members of groups. It examines individual coaching, group motivation and leadership, team building, and behavioral processes at the individual, group, and inter-group level. It shows the impact of the self on others, and to overcome the barriers to organizational leadership.

The Search for Meaning
This course will focus on the relationship between problems and the meaning each individual sees in life. Distinctions are made between philosophy and spirituality. It deals with the stages of psychological and spiritual development for the individual and the methods for evoking meaning and purpose in life.

Decision Making & Analysis
This course examines the major decisional areas with respect to establishment of goals and the determination of strategies. It deals with the dynamic conditions of uncertainty and risk characterizing the environment of modern organizations. It emphasizes analytical approaches for problem formulation and solution, and decision implementation.

Emotional Intelligence
This course delineates the five crucial skills of emotional intelligence, and shows how they determine our success in relationships, work, and even our physical well-being. What emerges is an entirely new way to talk about being smart. It explains why empathy, self-awareness, and self- discipline is essential to success and positive human interaction. It provides an effective tool that can make our schedules, behaviors, and relationships more manageable.

Entrepreneurship Leadership
This course focuses on the aspects of leader-follower interaction, including effective use of power and influence, and understanding what motivates followers both individually and in teams. It develops interpersonal communication skills that increase leader effectiveness in achieving work force results. It shows how to discover and manage your own strengths and weaknesses, and how to attract, recruit and build up a talented team.

Coaching & Leadership
This course shows how to get the most from employees. Managers learn how to be more than just a boss and develop the skills and strategies to become more like a coach to their employees. It shows how to tap into the hidden strengths and talents of employees, to inspire peak performers to even greater levels of productivity, to confront inappropriate behavior, and turn problem employees into productive workers.

Coaching Strategies
This course reviews important strategies relating to leadership, motivation and coaching applicable in various situations. It considers leadership communication strategies, creative thinking, teamwork, motivation, and the effect of different leadership and coaching styles upon the organization. It focuses on the coaching intervention strategies used in managing different organizational settings.
