Ceremonies
GRADUATION CEREMONIES
BIU students may start and finish their degree programs any date along the year. The fact that there are not group graduation times and that BIU graduates do not reside in the same place makes it difficult to plan group graduation ceremonies. BIU has organized the means to celebrate this special moment: the graduation, and to contribute to the promotion and networking of BIU graduates.
BIU offices should have a set of graduation caps and gowns for any graduate wishing to take an individual graduation picture. The student has to, of course, visit the BIU office and set up an appointment for the picture taking. There is no charge for this picture set up. You may send later your picture to be published on the BIU web: Graduate pictures list.
All BIU graduates who wish to receive their diploma at an official graduation ceremony are welcome to attend. If the graduate has already received the diploma by mail, he or she should bring it with them for it to be awarded at an official ceremony. Every student has the right to graduate in public once, although he or she may attend any BIU graduation ceremony. The cost and details of the graduation event will be confirmed in due time.
BIU does not provide graduation rings. You may contact directly to order your graduation ring and any other academic regalia.
Your Testimony is appreciated. This testimony should explain how the BIU degree program has contributed to your professional or personal improvement. If this testimony is accepted, then it will be published in the BIU Human Network. As a token of appreciation, BIU will send a certificate of one course that you have earned at BIU and that is listed in your transcript. This certificate is also recognized by the International Association for Continuing Education & Training (IACET) from Washington DC, USA. This certificate will automatically be sent to the address we have in our files after the publication of your testimony. You may find more information about these certificates in the validation options section of this web.
