MODULE: Energy Healing

Program delivered by distance learning higher education up to a maximum of 30 credits. This module may be combined or completed with other online university courses from this faculty.

DESCRIPTION:

Conventional physical wellness is not an exclusive synonymous of good health. Spiritual and Energy Healing presents an in-depth study of the human energy fields and the spiritual concerns of those people who seek happiness, optimum health and the achievement of their full potential as human beings. This program is a guide to understanding how the human energy field functions and how it is affected by the subtleties and complexities of spiritual disturbances. It teaches how to heal others and oneself. This program is a way for evoking meaning and purpose in life.

 

Courses list (each subject accounts for 3 credits):

1 BIU Earned Credit = 1 USA Semester Credit (15 hours of learning) = 2 ECTS Credit (30 hours of study).

This module is applicable to Specialist, Expert, Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. (Doctor) Programs. This distance learning degree program is designed at the postgraduate level – Master’s or Doctoral. This module may be easily adapted to complete the Specialist, Expert or Bachelor’s adult degree program requirements. A further option is the enrollment into the online university courses listed in this module.

* University Course (3 credits): Select 1 subject from this module.

* Specialist Diploma (15 credits): First 5 subjects or select 5 subjects from this module.

* Expert Diploma (21 credits): First 7 subjects or select 7 subjects from this module.

* Bachelor's Degree (130 credits): The Admission certificate issued after submission of the application for admission will show the amount of credit transferred and validated from previous education and experience, and the amount of credits required to complete this undergraduate program's major. Additional courses from other modules of this faculty will be assigned in case that the credits displayed on this module are not enough to complete the bachelor's required credits.

* Master's Degree (35 credits): Select from 3 to 9 subjects from this module depending on the amount of credits transferred from previous education and experience. Add 13 credits corresponding to a final project to the selected subjects.

* Ph.D. (Doctor) (45 credits): Select from 3 to 9 subjects from this module depending on the amount of credits transferred from previous education and experience. Add 18 credits corresponding to a final thesis to the selected subjects.

BIU issues an admission certificate after receiving your complete application for admission. This document will show the amount of credits transferred and validated from previous education and experience, and the amount of credits required to complete the degree program's major. BIU can not perform this evaluation without the complete application for admission.

Energy: Beyond the Physical Self

This course explores how conventional physical wellness is synonymous with good health and how additional dimensions of wellness and nontraditional kinds of bioenergetic therapies play a role in our mental, emotional and physical health. It deals with the relationship between health and the meaning each individual sees in life.

Healing Practices & Rituals

This course explores the major traditions focusing on spiritual practices and rituals, and their effective healing experience. It examines the relationship between these practices and their effects on our body, mind and spirit. It covers different practices of stress management, such as meditation, guided imagery, dance, movement and art expression related to emotional states and physical disease improvement.

Mind, Body & Spirit

This course explains the importance of the interconnection of mind, body and spirit. It discusses different practices of stress management, meditation, guided imagery, physical exercise, art expression, and biofeedback related to emotional states, wellness and disease.

Senses Awareness & Development

This course examines the connection of your senses with your body and mind to develop self-awareness. It deals with different techniques to perceive and direct your internal focus to acquire more control of the body and the flow of energy through it. It describes how to develop your senses to enhance perception and become a better therapist.

E-Motion Therapy

E-motion: All life is an expression of energy in motion. Energy emerges from and returns to its source. This course presents the principles and philosophies that explain the flow of the vital force. It reviews some theories and techniques to channel energy in motion: Polarity therapy, Ayurveda, Chinese Traditional Medicine, and Reiki.

Energy Healing

This course focuses on the development of sensitivity in order to release blocked energy and permit the body to complete its energetic circuits of emotion and achieve balance. It describes how to align the energy of your physical body with the energy of the universe and tap into an infinite reservoir of vital force and wellness.

Qi Energy Development

This course introduces the principles and practices of the development of Qi, our internal energy. It surveys the major forms of balancing the Qi, with emphasis on exercises and techniques to become aware of Qi, to enhance the circulation of Qi throughout the body, and to finally improve health using our internal energy.

Wellness & Health

This course focuses on a holistic approach to wellness and health management. It shows how to assess our current wellness status and how to make improvements where necessary. Topics include physical activity, nutrition, self-esteem, emotional intelligence, sexuality, and spiritual wellness.

Spiritual Wellness

This course analyses the distinctions between religion, theology and spirituality. It considers the stages of spiritual development for the individual and the relationship between spirituality and health from the perspective of the world religions. It evaluates the effectiveness of spiritual practices for wellness and the ways to address issues of spirituality in the lives of people.

Spiritual Healing

This course examines the human energy field for people who seek to reach happiness and health. It explains how the human energy field functions, the subtlety and complexity of spiritual disturbances, healing and interactions with others and oneself. It reviews methods for evoking meaning and purpose in life.
