Building Technology & Design via distance learning

This program details the major systems used in the design of a building, how it is constructed, and how elements of the same building interrelate and affect each other. It focuses on the principles underlying building construction. These can serve as guidelines for the evaluation and application of new materials, products, and standards in the planning, design, and construction of a building. Each building element, component, or system is described in terms of its functionality. If approved by the faculty, this program may lead to a major in Architecture.
