Quantum Computing via distance learning

This program of quantum computing studies the use of quantum phenomena such as superposition and entanglement to perform computation. Quantum computers perform calculations based on the probability of an object's state before it is measured - instead of just 1s or 0s - which means they have the potential to process exponentially more data compared to classical computers.

Academic Supervisor: Alex Vuginshteyn

Data Analysis
This course of data analysis examines the analytical and logical reasoning to gain information from the data. The main purpose of data analysis is to find meaning in data so that the derived knowledge can be used to make informed decisions. It involves the interpretation of data to determine patterns, relationships or trends. Data analysis is the most crucial part of any research.
Academic Supervisor: Alex Vuginshteyn

Quantum Mechanics
This course of quantum mechanics studies a fundamental theory in physics that provides a description of the physical properties of nature at the scale of atoms and subatomic particles. It explains how everything works, the nature of the particles that make up matter and the forces with which they interact.
Academic Supervisor: Ashraf Elsayed Mohamed

Quantum Physics
This course of quantum physics studies subatomic particles and how atoms work. It determines how the position or momentum of a single particle or group of few particles changes over time. It is the foundation of quantum-based technology and information science.
Academic Supervisor: Ashraf Elsayed Mohamed

Deep Learning
This course explores how deep learning simulates the human brain, enabling systems that learn to identify objects and perform complex tasks with increasing accuracy, all without human intervention. Deep learning is a subset of machine learning in which multi-layered neural networks, modeled to work like the human brain, 'learn' from large amounts of data.
Academic Supervisor: Abdo Miled Abou Jaoude

Artificial Neural Networks
This course covers the fundamentals and applications of biologically-inspired artificial neural networks. It examines the implementation of several neural net topologies and their related learning algorithms. It considers recent advances in neural networks, high-speed optical networks, switch architectures, and wireless computing.
