Outcome resulting from reading the book and the selection of the main concepts from the course content.

The student will be able to identify and sort Anthropology key concepts by reading the course assigned textbook. These concepts will have to be classified and rearranged in order to prepare a coherent index or table of contents. This index will demonstrate the student's ability to grasp the interrelationships, hierarchy, and overall meaning of the Anthropology key elements. More info...

Outcome resulting from the course textbook content summary and draft report writing.

The student will examine the assigned textbook to integrate selected text extracts according to the previously elaborated table of contents in order to meet the written report format length limits (20 to 35 pages). Thus, the student may need to either expand the report content or summarize it further. This recurrent content adjustment will lead the student to interpret, synthesize, and reorganize the information read in the required textbook in order to demonstrate in writing a clear comprehension and specialized knowledge about Anthropology.
