Humanities via distance learning
Humanities stress on the importance and value of analyzing human beings from an integrated historic, philosophic, and artistic perspective. Through a thorough examination of the world's history, politics, religion, philosophy, and art, students learn how perspectives affect each other. Art is perceived as the expression of the historical events and ideas governing a particular era. History is recognized as the confrontation between ideas, society, and politics and their evolution. The ideas characterizing an epoch emanate from the analysis of previous philosophical failures. This program of humanities differently approaches the major crises of this century: globalization, environmental degradation, social chasm, and cultural clashes.
