This program provides a comprehensive view of human sexuality. It covers, delicately and comprehensively, all relevant topics of sexology including aspects of sexual and therapeutic health: sexual communication, fantasy, masturbation, homosexuality, bisexuality, female and male sexuality, sexual enrichment, and pleasure. It explores a variety of sexual behavior; the treatment possibilities for sexual dysfunction; the need to protect ourselves from sexually transmitted diseases; how our sexual satisfaction can improve with age even as the body changes; and how can we help sexually harassed victims, etc.

This course examines the connection between the senses, the body, and the mind that lead to the development of self-awareness. It investigates various techniques that allow the perception of internal forces and their direction to acquire more body control and internal energy flow. It describes how to develop personal senses to enhance self-perception and become a better therapist.

Human Sexuality
This course presents a comprehensive view of human sexuality and to the sexual attitude restructuring process. It covers topics such as endorsement, communication, fantasy, masturbation, homosexuality, bisexuality, desensitization and resensitization, female and male sexuality, sexual enrichment, special problems, therapy, and cultural expression. It overlooks how sex is shaped by culture from tribal to industrial societies.

This course examines the impact of modern society upon the family as it relates to courtship, size of family, member relationships, economic problems, and marital stability. It compares alternative life styles, marriage, and family relations throughout the life span. It examines family development across generations.

Sexual Pleasure Education
This course presents strategies for improved sex life, sex aids, sexual approaches, and male and female pleasuring. It stresses the value of various body work techniques for persons intending to work in the field of sex therapy and counseling. It also includes a sexological exploration of objects which have been created in response to sexual desire and experience.

Sexual Behavior
This course examines the development and expression of sexual behavior as a complex psychological, socio-cultural, biological, and historical phenomenon. It includes research methods in human sexuality; biological bases of sexual behavior; sexual arousal and response; gender identity and gender roles; attraction and love; sexual orientation; sexuality across the life cycle; sexual dysfunctions and sex therapy; safer sex and STD prevention; atypical sexual variations; sexual coercion, and sexual abuse and treatment.

Sexual Attitude Restructuring
This course presents an educational and experimental program for sex educators, therapists, and counselors. Sexual attitude restructuring focuses on the use of new methodologies including the use of media, massage, psychodrama, exercises, fantasy, personal development, body awareness, communication skills. It explains why the sexual attitude restructuring process works and teaches how to run a sex workshop.

This course examines the historical as well as the currents methods and procedures of sex therapy. This distance learning education program is completed by a traditional correspondence instruction method. Once you sign up for the course, Bircham International University will send you (to your mailing address) the suggested textbooks. After reading the book, you will be asked to write a 20 to 35 pages report that reflect your understanding of the book. This report is equivalent to the exam and can be submitted by email or mail. Bircham International University will evaluate your written work. If passed, BIU will issue the corresponding diploma. For a program of 21 credits, the estimated time for completion is 21 weeks. For 45 credits, the estimated time for completion will be 45 weeks, and so on. Calculations are approximate.
