This course examines the principles and theories of urban structure and institutions, the concepts and logic of urban planning, and the evolution of planning ideas in response to changing social, economic, and environmental conditions. This course reviews the techniques of real estate valuation; market analysis in addition to legal and political analysis. It exposes the approaches to valuation, market comparison, income, and cost. This course explores urban economics and impacts on real estate development. This distance learning education program is completed by a traditional correspondence instruction method. Once you sign up for the course, Bircham International University will send you (to your mailing address) the suggested textbooks. After reading the book, you will be asked to write a 20 to 35 pages report that reflect your understanding of the book. This report is equivalent to the exam and can be submitted by email or mail. Bircham International University will evaluate your written work. If passed, BIU will issue the corresponding diploma.
