Farm Management via distance learning

This program of farm management reviews various strategies to keep a farm productive and profitable. Efficient farm management principles and practices may be applied to large commercial farms, but they also prove to be successful on a small family-owned farm. It integrates agricultural economics (for information on prices, markets, agricultural policy, and financial needs) with plant and animal sciences (for information on soils, seed, and fertilizer, on control of weeds, insects, and disease, rations and breeding). Finally, it relies on agricultural engineering for the optimization on farm production processing, machinery, irrigation, crop drying, drainage and farming control systems.
